ESPN Game Recap
Does anyone have any information on this:
"When reporters entered the locker room after the game, Griffin was anything but jubilant. His head was in his hands after receiving a phone call and he was sobbing.
Griffin, who is scheduled to compete in the slam dunk contest on Saturday in Los Angeles, did not speak to reporters after the game, with a team spokesman calling it an unspecified personal issue."
Let me postface this by saying it's late and I haven't fully foliaged through the Nation, but this seems like news to me and I haven't read anything else about it yet.

REally sad..
What's the use of a good young core if they never end up being winners for us?

His childhood friend, Wilson Holloway, died after battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
It was terrible to hear about. I had never heard of the guy, but he just sounded like he was truly a great person that made a positive and lasting impact on the lives that he encountered. As a fan of Blake the player, and Blake the person, this is heartbreaking to read about. I don’t want to imagine what he is going through right now. You compound that with the hectic schedule that he’s supposed to have this upcoming weekend and it’s just terrible. This is supposed to be a time for him to be happy and excited, but he’s going to have a heavy heart. He’s got talk show appearances, practices, fan sessions on top of the events that he’s supposed to take part in. How do you deal with all of the media circus crap and try to be focused while grieving?
I’m glad that his family will be there for him this week and I just hope that he keeps his head up. I don’t know how it’s going to all play out, but I feel for him. It’s just so much on his plate.
