So as most know, Gerald Wallace is a Blazer. He was had for expiring contracts and 2 future first-round picks. While I'm not sure if they're protected picks, assuming the Blazers stay consistent, those picks weren't going to be much beyond mid-first round picks anyhow.
While I wasn't personally one advocating for acquiring one Wallace (given most of our scenarios included trading Chris Kaman) for a high price, given the Clippers just traded a first-round pick to Cleveland, it seems we could've kept Baron Davis, send some expiring contracts instead, along with just one more pick aside from this year's (some pick in the future) and had Wallace. That's not TOO bad a deal. At all.
