Tayshaun Prince, who I see getting a lot of mentions around here as a wanted piece over the summer, might not be such a good move.
Tayshaun has been having arguments with Coach John Kuester of the Pistons for most of the year. They have had several arguments about playing time and other issues, and some of Prince's body language on the court this year has clearly been negative.
Now, Prince along with 4 of his other teammates, did not go to the Pistons practice on Thursday, and it has been mentioned several times that he and Richard Hamilton are in a mutiny of sorts against Kuester.
True or not, most Pistons fans are 100% done with Prince at this point, and are willing to trade him away for just about anything (go over to their SBnation blog to see). But at this point, would the Clippers really want Prince? Judging by his actions this year, he isnt a leader, can be a troublemaker, and DOESNT LIKE TO STEP OUT OF THE WAY FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS. On a young Clippers team, especially with a developing player like AFA, this could be a bad attitude to have.
Not only that, but having seen about 10 Pistons games this year (I know its not much), Prince really isnt even playing that well. His defense is solid, and his offense is ok, but not great. Really, at this point, he is way overhyped, especially for a player entering the age group for long road of decline.
Basically, in my opinion, getting Prince would be a bad deal right now. AK 47 looks to be a much better choice, but his scoring is down as well.
