At 7:30 Dan asks BG if he's a Clipper for life
Pretty positive answer…it really seems like if the FO handles their business he’s down to stay.
I really don't want to overanalyze it
but I didn’t really like the hesitation, doesn’t seem like he’s sold yet. I don’t think he should be sold on staying yet either, but he has to get that question a lot, and it’s only going to get worse as he gets closer to contract extension time. He needs a default answer along the lines of “I love it here, as long as we are getting better, I am staying”. Some of that “uhhh, we’ll see, I don’t know, it’s great place and all, but it’s down the road” is only going to create more rumors.
I dont mind the hesitation
Thats a loaded question for a 21 year old, especially given the Clippers history. you also have to look at it from a PR standpoint. Thats probably the answer you’re going to get no matter what team drafts you. Honestly, if the FO doesn’t do a decent job putting talent around Blake by the end of his first extension (considering the money we should have to spend in this large market) I wouldn’t be too surprised if he moved on. If he’s already in a large market, there aren’t too many other more desirable locations. Of course, all this depends on how the other 29 teams are doing 4/5 years from now.
We shouldn’t even be thinking about that right now b/c he is going to be a Clipper for a long time whether he changes teams or not.
Thats how he always gives interviews!
He sounded more confident when he answered the question though! Maybe the recent winning streak is giving him more confidence to remain a Clipper in the future! If the Clips put the right players around him, I don’t really see him moving from LA (I mean it’s LA) unless for family reasons
Man I got them buzzin' buzzin' buzzin' buzzin, Like da-da-da-da-da-da-da -Mann
He makes sure he's going to give a good answer
Wants to keep the answers conservative.

that was actually...
more positive than the Jimmel Kimmel “are you a clip for life”

"For [Griffin]getting in the way of Andre Miller’s 40 yard dash?" -Steve Perrin
Given BG’s highly competitive nature I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s made it his career goal to make the Clippers the alpha team in LA. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulled a Kobe later and made hints at moving on so as to get the team to invest in better talent (rather than actually seriously intending to jump ship).
Right now, I think the worst case scenario is that he’s like KG on the Wolves.
