First off, congrats to the Cleveland Cavaliers; however, I'm a little confused. How can that #1 pick be our pick? Since we had the better record, should our pick that we traded to the Cavs be the 4th? It doesn't really matter anyways but I just want to know how it all works.
This might be good karma. We traded our pick to the Cavs, a team that was heartbroken after the whole Lebron thing. I consider their success in tonight's lottery will be good karma for us. They needed these picks more than us and now we have the cap room and also other draft picks (for example the 2012 pick) to use for trades this off-season. I really think the Clippers front office are thinking about bigger moves this off-season now knowing they "traded" the #1 pick. I believe they will do something this to make Clippers team and Clipper Nation way much stronger.
I'm not worried at all. This just shows that we're not looking at potentials anymore, we are looking for veterans and winners! 2011-2012 PLAYOFFS!
