That would suck for us
But it would help both of those teams immensly. Sixers would finally get a good perimter scorer who can take over games, and Warriors get good defense, and a chance for Curry to shine with full ball control and team control.
Didn't Wright have a good year with them?
They need defense in the 1 and 2 spot, this trade wouldn’t make sense for me!

Iggy can play SG
He actually fits very nicely, with Curry at PG and Wright at SF

If this goes through. . .
Warriors become a legit playoff contender, in our very own division. Hopefully Olshey has something up his sleeve.
Probably just his arm. No tricks. No aces.

has no coaching experience?

He's gonna have to use that arm then
muscle his way into a deal for a legit SF, show Blake we are serious about putting good pieces around him.
West is saying its just a rumor
I’m not sure if this trade is worth it for the warriors though. Monta is great and as much as I like Iggy I don’t think he is worth Monta. Of course the Sixers would love it, as long as they have some confidence in Evan Turner.

I'm so happy for them...

We dont need Iggy
He would take up a lot of valuable time for AFA and I’m certainly not trading AFA for Iggy yet
Clippers own staples center!!!
No way, I actually was never high on AFA, I was high on Hayward! So I say trade him when he has some value!

I disagree
O.T. but why do you always end your sentences with an exclamation point?
Clippers own staples center!!!
What do u guys think of...
Iggy to Clips
Monta to Philly
Kaman/aminu to GS
by DocD on Jun 7, 2011 11:27 AM PDT via mobile reply actions
That would mean
GS trades Monta for Kaman & Aminu. Jerry West is smarter than that.

eh
You overvalue Ellis. He’s not that good. Adding Kaman to the Warriors could make them a 8th seeded playoff team.
Help us Altered Beast you're our only hope.

I agree
Isnt their lack of consistent play at C their biggest weakness. I’m sure Jerry West will see the value in having a very good post up center.
Although the thought of a lineup of Mo/EG/Iggy/Blake/DJ makes me think the Clips go deep in the playoffs.
I don't know
You guys might be right, but I feel like you’re overvaluing Kaman. His best years are behind him as this season he will hit 30.
Also, the Warriors already have a lot invested in the Center position. They have a lot of money invested in Biedrins and potential invested in Udoh. It would be hard to swallow another player at that position when they are thinner at the wing.
Ask yourself if you were the Warriors, would prefer Iggy or Kaman/Aminu. I’m high on Aminu, but if they are in win-now mode as reported, he really doesn’t help that cause.

Look at Golden State's Lineup if this trade happens
PG: Stephen Curry
SG: Reggie Williams?
SF: Dorrell Wright
PF: David Lee
C: Chris Kaman
Stephen Curry as the ball handler outside threat, throwing it to DLee and Kaman. Both Kaman and Lee have a good midrange and post game.

I must be
overvaluing Kaman or something
I think Kaman is a huge upgrade for the Warriors. He was hurt much of the year and shared time with DJ, but isnt he still one of the top post up centers in the league? And Aminu may have had a somewhat disappointing season, but he still has value based on his huge upside and athleticism
That's a NICE front court.

so he can trade away our best players?
