maybe people just dont know who to vote for
and decide to vote for world peace
That's how I voted
Plus, no way I’m gonna vote for someone with a chance to overtake Blake, so I just went with someone funny. Think I voted for Harden a few times too, cause I was surprised it was listed as a forward
Or
you could just leave it blank.
when you hear the Clippers, it’s not going to be a joke anymore. I can guarantee you that -BG32
what's the fun in that
I’ll throw some votes out to guys I like. Not saying I like MWP, but his name is always good for a chuckle, especially when you see it on an All-Star Ballot. Mostly been just throwing random votes at Harden for the second F spot in the W. Would vote for Love too since I’ve always been a fan, but don’t want to risk him overtaking Blake, haha
one of my new years resolutions is to help world peace
so i took a shortcut and just voted for him to the all-star game
Ralph, "Last year so often with Blake Griffin you would see these things coming, with Paul, he's so crafty, all of a sudden boom there it is."
Centers
Used to be a league full of high quality Centers. Now, it’s just Bynum and Howard. I still think Bynum is overrated.
I think he could be a great player...
if he matured and didn’t get injured
Bynum has proven that he isn't all talk.
But his inconsistency and injury kills him. He can put up 20-15 a night, or he can just as easily put up 10-10.
This is how I expected it to be for the starting 5
I’m surprised DJ is getting more votes than Marc Gasol but I like it.
i kinda like it
but marc gasol is miles better, and will probably make it over dj. deservedly so.
Damn...
we need to start voting like mad to get DJ in the starting lineup over Bynum. I’d like to see as many Clippers in the starting lineup as possible.
Clippers // Chargers // Rays // Boise State
"The Lakers do win games. But things can change." - Blake Griffin
most importantly
I hope Vinny is the coach for the west, haha. Gotta get those W’s
Oh God...
Vinny would be the East’s All-Star MVP.
Clippers // Chargers // Rays // Boise State
"The Lakers do win games. But things can change." - Blake Griffin
somehow if the Clips had the best record in the West
by the All-Star Game, I’d hope Vinny showed some improvement in his coaching tactics, haha. Plus the coaches don’t really do anything, but it’d be nice to have him there to decide how much playing time any of the Clips get. He could also do us a solid and play Kobe the whole game at center against Dwight.
Seems like LA ballot stuffing
Other cities may catch up on ballot stuffing.
considering World Peace got 39,006 votes, that’s 39,006 more than he deserves. So 39,006 Laker fans cast “all homer ballots” so you can discount all Laker vote getters by that amount (though Kobe will still win it easily).
But similarly Clipper vote getters should be discounted by something close to Billups number. Billups is better than World Peace, but probably still not one of the top two guards in the West.
Beast Forwards in the West
Doesn’t it seem very crowded for good forwards? The top six seem worthy of consideration, whereas for guards it seems obvious that Kobe and CP3 are the only ones to consider. You could field Gasol ©, Blake (PF), Dirk (SF) and Durant (SG) with one PG and have a great team. I’d even take LMA or Love at PF
And where would Caron go on that list. Maybe near Odom (Odom better last year, Caron better this year)
Rubio over Nash, Westbrook, Lowry, and Ellis?
I don’t buy it. And why does Monte Ellis never get any all-star love?
I don't think an all star means you are the best in your position.
Just the most popular, and in most cases, fun to watch. That is why I think BG has so many votes and same with DJ. There are better players at that position, but they are the most fun to watch!
Not to belabor the point
but this should really be fanshot (in fact a fanshot of this was posted before this post), unless you are going to give some sort of spin on it keep article quotes like this in the fanshot section.
"It's better to be an optimist who is sometimes wrong than a pessimist who is always right"unknown
would be awesome to have DJ, Blake and Paul all be in the all star game
btw, is blake defending his slam dunk title??
he can have paul pass to him not instead of Baron
