Chris Paul is now the #2 best point guard in fantasy

this is based on per average stats in Yahoo standard setting

he only trails 1 PG....

Kyle Lowrey

15 pts, 9,4 assists, 6.7 rebs, 2 stls, 1.8 threes!!!! He has Jason Kidd type numbers. Can do it all

Monster stats

I wish we could get Ryan Anderson

Guy is a fantasy beast. The young fella is the TOP CENTER in the league!!!

17 pts, 7.3 boards, 3.3 threes!! Guy can bomb.

Andersen is nowhere near a center

and he is shooting something like 62% on 20+ft jumpers right now. We are 10 games into a season. Kid is shooting hot right now. Don’t get carried away.

new clipper fans and non clipper fans will be coming to this site all the time now

Hmm

Clipper fans are becoming elitist? Never saw this day coming.

We're just practicing for when the team actually becomes elite 3 years from now

I assume that with a user name that references Benoit and Cage he must be a long term fan.

i have been a long time clipper fan before their was even internet

do some research son before you banter off nonsense

went to 20 games like when we went 17-65 when we played at the coliseum

have you ever even watched a clips game in the coliseum?

"do some research before you banter off nonsense"

If you are a longtime Clipper fan, then I’m sorry. But you can understand that I would be cautious around someone who joined so recently.

As for the research before nonsense part, how am I supposed to research how long you’ve been a fan? Frankly, based on some of your fanposts, I assumed you didn’t know much about the team. DeAndre Jones? Really? Maybe you should research your posts so you can get the names of your own teams players correct.

I would consider your calling Ryan Anderson the best center in the league nonsense… Anderson isn’t a center, and he is simply on a hot streak. As I commented above, he is shooting 62% on shots from 20ft or further. Either he is the greatest shooter ever by far, or those numbers are unsustainable.

Have I ever been to a clips game in the colosseum? No. I was 3 when they moved to the Staples Center in ’99.

my post is clearly about FANTASY as I mentioned it twice

it is a fact right now that Ryan Anderson is ranked as the #1 best center on yahoo fantasy as it is with Chris Paul being the #2 best PG

but no biggie. we are all clipper fans

go clippers!

forgive me

It’s unusual to have someone say whatever, and aknowledge that we are all here for the same reason!

I agree that we are all clipper fans, I guess I’ve allowed myself to get a tad jaded.

possible

I find those stories hard to believe… I mean, even if you rarely comment it’s hard to not join in. If I may say so myself, we have a very vibrant community.

by LJ Hann on Jan 13, 2012 12:02 PM PST up reply actions

A very vibrant community…I went onto the Heat SBN blog after the last game and i was shocked at how little traffic they had.

by lbclips on Jan 13, 2012 12:04 PM PST up reply actions

Watch their games (Heat) and see all the empty seats too.

It really is not a strong basketball city. Compare crowds watching LeBron when he played in Cleveland vs playing in Miami. Too many other activities in a football state.

Miami isn't a huge market

and most people living there maintain dual residences. I have a few NY friends who split their time between Manhattan and SoBe.

I agree

Many vocal Knick fans are the games when the Knicks are in Miami. Almost drown out the more passive Heat fans.

I know right?

Everyone always says “LA, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Miami” when talking about big markets… but why Miami? Just because they have nice beaches, does not make them a huge basketball town.

it's a shame

that team in LA or NYC would be HUGE

by LJ Hann on Jan 13, 2012 12:21 PM PST up reply actions

I've been to the CN event

a lot of people don’t necessarily post fanshots/fanposts or even comment. They like reading the front page stuff SP writes.

No real surprise there...

Chris Paul has been a fantasy beast since he stepped foot into the league, and he is usually a top 3 pick after Lebron and Durant.
