Kobe vs. CP3 in the Clutch
This is a must listen. I love how Henry Abbott crusades to debunk the myth that Kobe always comes through in the clutch. Instead, he shows that the only thing Kobe always does in the clutch is ignore his teammates and chuck it.
CP3 on the other hand makes his TEAM elite in the clutch.

It's always about making the right play
Kobe can take all the fade-away long two point shots over two defenders he wants those are just bad plays. I’ll take the guy looking to find the open teammate for a wide open jump shot or layup who can also take good shots (like the one at the end of regulation) if it comes up.
Help us Altered Beast you're our only hope.
Yea
Laker fans have a mosquito ringtone hearing on anything negative on Kobe. The best is the delusional Kobe fans that think he’s better than MJ.

But as much as I hate to admit it, Kobe is still who I want SHOOTING IT.
I just wouldn’t want him dribbling it for more than 6 seconds. It is too obvious that he will shoot it and not even THINK about passing it, so that makes it much easier for the defenders. So I would want the ball in CP3’s hands, but to me, there is no question that Kobe would be pulling the trigger.
Yeah, I didn't listen to the whole thing.
Sorry ! It was a tad long, and I went straight to the comments.
If Kobe was in Jordan's position...
….would he have made that pass to Seve Kerr for the win, during the finals.

I do not think so.
I feel the chances of a Steve Blake with an open 20 ft. jumper or a pass to Gasol or Bynum off a double team would be far more effective than an off balance double pump shot at the buzzer by Kobe. Kobe’s biggest strength is his biggest weakness. He is capable of hitting about any shot even when heavily guarded. I will take the % of an easier shot from another player after the double team on him.
"Great Balls Of Fire, Reggie's Back!"
And that's exactly Abbott's point...
He expresses admiration for Kobe’s abilities, but thinks his “I’m the man” attitude is counter-productive.
All about making the right basketball play.
However, if MJ shoots it, he’s head and shoulders above Kobe Bryant.

Actually, that’s not saying a whole lot…
