The video was shot before last nights game. I wonder what Dr. Buss is going to come up with next.

I’m sure that the are trying to maintain their alpha status in the city…which they would do anyway and don’t really need to advertise it. More importantly the Lakers are completely ripping off the Dodgers ad campaign fron 2 seasons ago. Remember the “This is My Town” billboards all over LA? This is my town…this is my city….McCourt should sue Buss!
Yes, The Dodger Ads
The Angels had put up a bunch of billboards all over SoCal around 2-4 yrs ago ( I can’t remember). The Dodgers respond with ads “This is LA Baseball”. Which was ridiculous, the team and Vin Scully had always stated, “This is Dodger baseball”.
I’m also sick of reading all these articles, “This is the first time the Clips are giving the Lakers a challenge” quotes which are clearly inaccurate. Both 04-05 and 05-06, the Clips were btr than the Lakers. It’s amazing how little research and how little memory sports writers have.
