Any one else notice that he said “Clips Nation” instead of “Clipper Nation”? Branding, baby!
The whole “The sofa was where I believed Paul would be for the playoffs, and that looks like a bad call right now” thing is just amazing to me. How can anyone who professes to know anything about basketball have thought this team wouldn’t make the playoffs? I mean, short of an injury or whatever? New Orleans made the playoffs three of the last four seasons; the only time they missed was when Paul missed half the season. Essentially, Chris Paul = Playoffs, since his third year in the league. Given that the Clippers supporting cast is clearly superior to the New Orleans supporting cast, what possible justification could anyone have for saying they’d miss the playoffs, beyond simple bias?

thought eric gordon would be a quick cut from team USA a couple years ago too, along with swearing that lebron would be a knick that same summer
