It is a full-season ungarunteed contract that can be waived for freemy early Feb.

Not to surprising
Clippers don’t want to rush back CP3 as hamstring injuries can linger if you play on them. And Bledsoe won’t be ready for another couple weeks. Will be interesting to see if Lil Wayne gets any real minutes of this is strictly and deep bench signing.

Doubt he sees much time barring foul trouble
Billups/Foye at the point and Foye/Butler at the shooting and Butler/Gomes at the Sf… not xactly deep. Leslie figures to get some real time coming up.
I think Vinny will rotate between those 5. But if Billups aggravates his back injury, or one of the top 3(Billups/Foye/Butler) is in foul trouble, Fortson figures to get some minutes.
I worry about Billups
Especially if Foye has a bad game, i hope Vinny doesnt play Chauncey too many minutes. If there’s a game to give time to some rooks, its this game vs NJ.

Especially given I think it was mentioned that C.Billups has like a sore back?
Nothing serious, but it was named when VDN was mentioning how the team was indeed beat up in many places.
Fortson is quick if nothing else .:...
He could be the Mike Taylor type of spark plug-stop gap. Except we won’t be playing him major minutes.
