So the the author has some pretty big trade ideas, and here are my opinions on them. 1. Carmelo for Deron. I think those are too big of names to just switch; I think Deron would love that, but Carmelo would despise it. Not going to happen 2. Ray Allen for Gibson, Watson and Brewer. Honestly, why the heck would the Bulls even try to change their roster. They would be giving up an awful lot for an old, aging Allen. Don't like this either. Why fix what isn't broken? 3. Monta Ellis for Danny Granger. This is the most reasonable one for me. It's clear that GSW wants to trade Monta and apparently Indiana wants to ship away Granger; works out for both teams in my opinion. 4. Nash/Childress/Frye for Kidd, Marion, and Mahinmi. Getting back the old Nash/Dirk duo? Don't think so. It seems like Cuban has a plan to go after BOTH Deron and Dwight, don't see why he would ruin those chances and only go after 1 for a team which I don't think would be as great as the author wishes.. 5. Dwight, Duhon, Richardson, and Scola to LA; Gasol to Houston; Bynum, Lowry, Fisher, and Barnes to Magic. Well then, this is probably the most far fetched trade I saw in the list. I understand Houston was willing to throw away a lot for Pau, but give up Scola and Lowry for Gasol? Pretty sure that isn't happening. Lowry is proving to be a GREAT PG, and Pau is proving to lack his normal, powerful game. Seems to me that the Lakers are getting an awful lot, and so are the Magic with Lowry and Bynum. Doesn't work in my opinion; and I hope it doesn't happen, that trade would just be absurd. But who knows? The Lakers are known to get some pretty crazy deals.
