The boys at TNT discuss Kevin Love and Blake Griffin. Good discussion, I'm going to side with Chuck on this one though.

I sure hope Griffin watch this video and show Barkley who's the best!

I like Shaq and that was the only time that i liked the Lakers was when he
played here but Kobe run him out and i stop watching the lakers.

I love that Shaq is getting his Ed.D.

His dissertation topic is “The Duality of Humor and Aggression in Leadership Styles”.

love will likely get better stats

butstats but who leads their team to victory could be another story

also im getting use to shaq on tnt, but guy rarely gives me anything insightful. im sure he can too since he has the most direct contact with most of these players.

I am a KLove fan

but even with great stats, I perceive him as doing little to make his teammates better.

yea

he doesn’t space the floor with his deadly 3 pt shot
he isn’t one of the best outlet passers
he doesn’t create any extra possessions

yup nothing I see from him helps his teammates

I think he does do plenty to help his teammates

But either A) they don’t capitalize or B) it’s offset by his defensive inabilities. This was my reasoning as to why they had such a crappy record last year despite having a supposedly other-wordly superstar. After seeing how they play this year, I’m convinced it’s A) because their upgraded roster (offensively) has resulted in them performing better.

Oh for second

after rereading ur paragraph, I really thought u were describing blake and i realized how similar those 2 guys are other than I’d say love has his jumpshot technique much much better than blake at this point

Blake is not overrated, he’s just over-hyped. Not sure I know who is better between Blake and KLove today, but I know who will be better two years from now. Chuck is right about one thing though… Blake will have to expand his offensive game in order to live up to everyone’s expectations.

Expectations of Blake

are whats hurting him this season. Critic’s biggest argument: no jumpshot. Blake works on it, wants to prove he’s working on it so he shoots it and its not quite going in at a good rate in games. If you ask me, I would Blake rather not watch this video cuz hes probably gonna want to prove barkley wrong with some jumpshots. But I’d prefer him to use some of that strength to back down his man and show us that pretty hook instead.
