Apparently Eric Gordon and Rob Pelinka are waiting to hear from David Stern regarding a possible extension for EJ in New Orleans. Nothing like negotiating your contract with the commissioner of the entire league - gulp. Clearly this is not what Stern should be doing, but at the same time I'm not sure I see the sinister implications Ziller does here. Extensions have to be signed by Wednesday, and in Gordon's case it won't happen. He'll become a restricted free agent, and that's OK for New Orleans as well.
