I saw this, and I didn't like it.
The “best” column is just ridiculous.
Really, Houston is basically even with us?
We took Houston out to the woodshed on Jan. 4.
at home
take em out on road thats a different story i think… we havent played yet, but seeing how bad we are on the road, i wont bet against it.
We haven't played terribly on the road.
It’s more that we have played extremely difficult teams on the road. Spurs, Blazers, Utah and the Lakers? Aside from the Lakers, those places are tough to steal wins.
Here's the bright side to this IMO.
If we start off with all of these very, very tough road games, near the end of the season, we can start to think of matchups in the playoffs. Yes, we will have our work cut out for us a bit more than we want, but if we can catch around a solid 5 spot coming into those easier road games, we can maybe gauge who we want to play. For example, if we decide we want to throw to get a rivalry matchup against the Lakers, we might have to really push for a couple more wins, or we may have to rest our players a bit, even if that means giving up a couple of wins.
Honestly I would rather play the Lakers in the second round
let Kobe get tired in the first and come in the second and knock them out. But really the west is still stacked and there is no real easy first round team we can play, my best case scenario would the Twolves if they made the playoffs but who knows who will be in the playoff picture come the end of the season.

I think the Lakers are vulnerable in the 1st round too.
I mean of course, Mavs have proved that they are vulnerable in the 2nd round via their sweep, but look at their past. They had a terrible time playing the far weaker Hornets and OKC (about 2 years ago). Also, it seems that the closer Kobe gets to the finals, the hungrier he gets.
Hmmm 2.2% odds of making finals
It might be worth the bet.
No, it's the Clip Show!
The fact that Chicago is at 35% while the Heat are at 20% shows me that Hollinger is biased.
To me, the Heat have a much better chance at making the finals. Their team is deeper and they have already proven that they can MAKE the finals. The Bulls have proven that they can’t get over the intensity brought by the Heat. Until then, I have the Heat at 35 and the Bulls at 20.
he didnt make up the numbers
its based on his systems. So he can’t be biased. The system could be flawed, certainly, but there’s no human bias involved.
I doubt he designed the system
to be tailored to the Bulls favor. I think that the Bulls are better than the Heat.
Clippers vs Lakers
in the first or second round, would be awesome….. and when the Lakers lose ( watch out ) do not go near Staples…….
