Vinny Del Negro earned his pay tonight.
I really like what he did, and I rarely say that about him. His rotations made sense; if the Nuggets love to run, put in guards and dare them to put the ball on the ground. When Butler wasn’t shooting well, he put in a younger, faster player. And although he never really went with it, he had Griffin and Butler out earlier so they could both play with their 2nd unit. Overall, good job by VDN, same to you Nuggets. They played a solid game but just couldn’t finish it off. Go Clippers!
I thought VDN's rotations were almost perfect
And he generally took correct timeouts as well.
The 3 guard lineup is deadly with the 3 we have now, and I hope we start to see it a bit more often.
you know we gotta give vdn some credit here, no doubt!

Honestly, I think he flopped a little bit, but he just made it more apparent that Nene pushed him, and you cannot deny that. The worst part about this from Denver fans is their lack of loyalty to Billups.

I personally don’t even think it was a flop… like Nene on the replay clearly showed he pushed pretty hard… I’m gonna go with Surfin on this one… Billups just made it more evident.

And yeah, its hard to explain. It is somewhat a flop,but at the same time, the contact was obviously there so it wasn’t. Regardless of what happened, Billups WAS pushed and you can’t argue that. If the player doesn’t want the call to be made, I would suggest not doing anything that may call into question a foul.
