Buying Out Kaman
It seems to me that unless NOH lowers its demands, they won't be able to trade Kaman. 14m is a lot, even when it's expiring, so I don't think Kaman will be dumped as easily as he might have been in the past.
This raises an interesting question. I know we can't trade for Kaman again even if we wanted to (which we don't), but if he's bought out, won't he be eligible to sign here as a Free Agent?
Granted, if BOS comes calling and offers a starting position, I don't see how Kaman goes anywhere besides Beantown, but wouldn't it be a good move to kick the tires here? Kaman on the Vet's Min coming off the bench would help us tremendously.
More realistically, I think Kenyon Martin and JR Smith would be all we need.
After faking an injury, is anyone willing to agree with me that JR Smith's wacky sister is acting a fool on purpose to help her brother get kicked out of the CBA?
That's love right there.

lol so it's all part of the plan
JR Smith keeps balling and staying out of trouble while GF Smith and Sis Smith chow on some Chinese Food
it’s a tall order, but it might just work.. it’s like getting kicked out of a buffet for eating too much

regarding jr smith's gf and sister
its almost close to an episode of …“when keeping it real goes wrong”
If we got JR Smith AND Kenyon Martin, wow that would be great.
We have 3 glaring holes in the roster, all of which are related.
1) Our bench is NON EXISTENT. Mo Williams and the offensively challenged Reggie Evans? That doesn’t seem very deep to me.
2) More importantly we don’t have a real, solid SG. Billups is good, but let’s be honest, his shooting hasn’t been that stellar (although he did have one wicked night in Denver) If we did get Smith, then we would have a solid backup SG/SF. From there, maybe we look to get a REAL SG with the rest of our bench players (Foye+Bledsoe+Pick for Mayo?).
3) Lastly, our front court is pretty shallow, that is a FACT. When Blake/DeAndre go out, we are left with a rebounding machine who wouldn’t pull the trigger from 2 feet away from the basket. With Martin, we would have a solid backup F or even C.
Rather than keeping Chauncey at starting SG, maybe we bump him to the bench to play with some of his Nugget buddies? Let’s be honest, Billups/Williams/Smith/Evans/Martin is just a NASTY bench. They got the attitude and the tenacity to win. They are all vets who just know what they are doing, not to mention Billups/Williams/Smith on offense would be a handful for most teams.
If we sign JR...I think Clipper Darrell will have met his match for superfan.
CD is just talk…she’s willing to throw down.

yeah, he’s not coming back. He went from our best player to some collateral damage pawn… twice in one season.
I know a lot of guys feel that “they’re big boys… and they’re millionaires and it is a business and there’s no sentiment in business”, but he did nothing to deserve this, he got injured (a lot), but when healtrhy, he was one of the best out there. We all know, how sad and disappointed he looked… there’s no way he’s coming back.
… but yes, at a reasonable price he would be the perfect piece3 to have for us.
Kaman, Kenyon and JR Smith
Oh sorry, I was just being a Laker fan _ Can’t believe I let that slip out
I actually think Kenyon + Smith is a possibility.
The fact that Billups seemed so relaxed when questioned about Kenyon makes me feel like we may be the frontrunners, not to mention that he wants to come to a contending team which I think we can argue that we have some chance at contending. At the same time, I think the other teams are far from great choices. Miami is a great time, but they have the least amount of money to offer him. Knicks? They are just a TRAINWRECK. I think Smith might also be likely to follow Kenyon, not to mention he already showed some interest in the Clippers.
I believe Ralph said Martin's children live in LA.

Kmart has two houses, one in LA and the other in Dallas.
If he comes here, can we just release Cook? Please?
