that would be something
Howard and the 7 mediocre hyperactive combo guards…

The Warriors
Funny how it mentions everything great Howard could get playing in the Bay Area except for the actual players on the team!
If Howard wants to play with another "super"star maybe he should stay in Orlando with Ryan Anderson
Gotta give the Warriors credit
for staying agressive even if they are really gambling. Maybe the influence of Jerry West?
"Who wants a free Sharpie?"
curious if Dwight would ditch them
if they really traded him for a “rental”. He seems like a genuinely good guy, and I don’t know, even ditching the W’s after a few months, his reputation might go all “lebron” on him. Especially with the diehard fans they have up north, it would definitely make for a tense situation.
What teams will have capspace where he could go next off season? Dallas obviously, but man, unless they get their act together, that may not look like quite the ideal destination either. I guess at least you know cuban wants to win and spend money, but they’re not getting younger anytime soon, and it’s not like they weren’t spending money in orlando either….
would hurt us having him in the division

As we know
Dwight can take nothing to the playoffs. Him + Curry or Ellis or Lee or nate Robinson or any 2/3 or the 4 is scary. monta or Stephen would automatically become the best player who Dwight has ever played with. The Warriors basically become another shoe in for the playoffs in the west.
well that depends on when they are able to pull this off
I think the DH situation will take at least a few weeks to play out. Once it becomes clear that Orlando isn’t going anywhere fast then things will get serious.
Honestly, I don’t see DH resigning with GSW.

With the All-Star Game being in Orlando, I think they hold off on trading Dwight until after the break.

If I was Orlando
I would just bite the bullet and try to trade all my players not named Dwight Howard. If I lose him for nothing, then so be it. It’s better than taking in Lee’s bloated contract and Curry’s shaky ankles. I would try to do everything to retain him unless he goes all Eddy Curry on me.
when you hear the Clippers, it’s not going to be a joke anymore. I can guarantee you that -BG32
Otis put them in a really bad spot.
They’re most attractive trade assets are JJ Redick (essentially an expiring), Jameer Nelson, and Ryan Anderson.
Could that combination get them something? Sure. Enough to keep him there? Eh.

It would be awesome if he was a Warrior.
Steph, Dorrell Wright, Howard etc. That would be sweet and Howard in that awesome uniform….
Energy * Focus * No Excuses
"For [Griffin] getting in the way of Andre Miller’s 40 yard dash?" -S. Perrin
my guess is if they pull this of
Steph will be in Orlando. Dorrell Wright is playing badly for the moment 0.293 FG% and 0.143 3P%. The guy was grea tin the first half of last season but has been not good since then.
Why would DH resign after this season with GSW? How can they get Howard what he wants if they got the contracts of (Lee 60M/4y), Biedrins (27m/3Y) and Monta Ellis (33M/3Y) around? Probably have to add the Turk (11M/1Y) to that. And they have already used their amnesty on Reggie Evans to make an offer sheet to DJ (which was by far the most idiotic move of the off-season even topping Kwame for 7M).
I don’t get these new owners. These are guys that have no problems running companies, taking decisions that will only bear fruit 5-10 years down the line, but once they own a team everything has to happen at once… .

Stephan Curry's trade value is very much in limbo at the moment.
This is the 4th time he has had the same ankle problem (including getting surgery) in his short career. This chronic ankle issue is kind of a medical mystery that has their medical staff somewhat baffled.
"Great Balls Of Fire, Reggie's Back!"
Even if Warriors managed to trade only Ellis for Dwight.
I wouldn’t say it will be an AMAZING team. Same with the Lakers except Bynum for Dwight. Why? Of course, any team Dwight is on will be good; however, how does having Dwight + no point guard make him as effective as he should be? Curry is a great pg, but in terms of passing… not so much. All in all, I don’t think Steph + Dwight would gel very well. Who knows though, maybe they will amaze me. But also, if the Lakers get Dwight, I don’t see them becoming great. Bynum has put up Dwight’s numbers lately and they still struggle. The Lakers need a strong PG, and luckily, there aren’t many for them to get. Also, if they DO get Dwight, they will give up Bynum+ their best bench player. So I don’t see them making huge strides with Dwight.
If Dwight ended up a Warrior, it would probably be for a package built around Curry.
Ellis is one of the 5 players that Dwight named as players he would like to play with. The others were Paul, Williams, Morrow and Cap’n Jack.
