Today, I noticed that we have some new advertisements in the background. I was experiencing some scrolling and page-load sluggishness (using Google Chrome), and so I inquired with some of the Clips Nation staff about whether they were experiencing lag as well. I mentioned that the problem might have been related to one of the advertisements that had an animated aspect to it, and John Raffo suggested that I disable the flash plugins.

So I went to chrome://plugins/ and disabled the flash plugin. Not only was the scrolling lag gone, but the homepage now loads MUCH faster for me.

Is it just me?

(I don't know any other browsers, but please comment on how to do the equivalent in the other browsers, if you know.)
