Stein says something strange when he refers to Eric Bledsoe and Jamal Crawford as a "suffocating combo". I think that might be true if they came in and suffocated the other team through defense, but I think it's more accurate to call them "chaotic". The "combo" word is slightly misused too, because it seems to me Matt Barnes is just as important a bench player. Even standing still the guy looks kind of chaotic. He's got more tattoos than the crosstown subway, he's half-white/half-black (though that's only a guess), and he's got the spitty attitude of the Sex Pistols in their prime. Of course to us Clipper fans he's really rather charming.
