Billups can come back here if he wants to compete for a title
Have him off the bench when Mo probably leaves and have him next to Bledsoe at SG. With him off the bench at a cheap price for about two years (team option on second year) and then get our young explosive SG in free agency.
I agree with the video
if Chauncey does come back I also see him resigning with the Nuggets (his home) replacing FA Andre Miller.

I think it would be either us or Denver
although I definitely could see him going to Denver to finish his career in his hometown.

Of course they are still contenders
and with good health for DJ, BG and CP3 they will remain so for the next 5 years. The supporting cast (Billups, Butler, Kenyon, Reggie, Mo and so forth) will change yearly based on whoever they can convince to come here on short-term deals but those 3 make up the foundation of the team for the next half decade.

And assuming we're able to retain BG and CP3

Not scared of retaining Blake Griffin
not likely Griffin will take a QO.

wasn't Chauncey upset at Denver for including him in that Melo trade?
I understand that he’s big on Denver, his hometown, but why would he want to go there a 3rd time when they’ve gotten rid of him twice already? Chauncey mentioned he wants to come back here (Clippers) because there is unfinished business here.

Nuggets didn't want to trade him either
but they had to in order to make the numbers work. It was Melo’s fault, Billups was collateral damage.

Interesting interview - similar in some ways to my own thoughts
