Okay, so I'm thinking about the all star weekend. Besides the rising star game and the actual all-star game I'm not even sure I'm interested in any of the other events. The dunk contest is always headlined by people that no one cares to see, and the three point shoot out is the same thing now. It's like the current group of stars that are too afraid to participate.

I'm thinking all-star weekend needs something else than a dunk competition.

First of all, the dunk competition was interesting in the past because many actual all stars took part in it. Now it's almost the same thing re-hashed over and over. I'm thinking of something other than a dunk competition.

How about a 1 vs 1 competition?

We've always wondered who was better 1 on 1 between Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. Team play thrown out the window, have two players play to a set number of points against each other. I think that would be interesting.
