Blake vs Dwight

Yesterday, MySDClippers wrote a FanPost of an email he sent to Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel. MySDClippers along with others in Clipper Nation, including myself, would not want to deal Blake and DJ for Dwight. ClipperChuck and I had a little discussion about Blake and Dwight's stats at age 22. With my brain flooded with information for a MBA mid-term, it didn't cross my mind that Blake at age 22 is his 2011-2012 NBA Season. Thanks ClipperChuck for pointed that out to me. He did compared both players stats at this age, but I feel it's incomplete because Blake is still finishing up his 2nd season (age 22). We all have our opinions, but I feel Blake has more potential to be better than Dwight. Dwight came into the league out of high school and usually those who came out of high school felt that they're too good for the college game, for academic reasons, or financial hardship. I don't remember what Dwight's reasons were, but I do feel if you come to the league out of high school as the #1 pick, his game should be improving every season. Dwight's numbers did improve after his rookie season and let's say that his first couple seasons is similar to Blake's two seasons at Oklahoma. So let's compare Dwight's 3rd season with Blake's 1st season (age 21):

1 Blake Griffin 2010-11 21 82 82 38.0 8.5 16.8 .506 5.4 8.5 .642 3.3 8.8 12.1 3.8 0.8 0.5 2.7 22.5
2 Dwight Howard 2006-07 21 82 82 36.9 6.4 10.6 .603 4.8 8.1 .586 3.5 8.8 12.3 1.9 0.9 1.9 3.9 17.6

Blake vs Dwight (age 22)

Blake is still young and have the motivation and determination to better his skills, including his defense. For those who say that Dwight is still the better player in the future, I think that's false because I think he is almost at his peak. If Blake has already shown better numbers in his first season vs Dwight's third season, don't you think Blake has the better future? Also, CP3 and Blake has build a relationship on and off the court, why should the Clippers ruin that?
