Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

"Gallinari said, "We know that once Blake takes off, it's almost impossible to block his shot. So you've got to find him before he takes off. Timo was able to be on the weak side at the right time. It was a tough foul, but sometimes you've got to do it."

Credit former Clipper Andre Miller with the suggestion.

"He had a lot of dunks on us in the first half, and Andre Miller said, 'The next time he tries to dunk the ball, let's try to put him on his behind,'" Al Harrington said. "He almost still made it, but it was a hard foul and he missed. It was a definitely a statement for us, defensively, and it set a precedent for how we were going to play the rest of the game. Teams try to bully us because we play so fast, so it was good to be on the other end of it for once.""

YES ANOTHER REASON TO HATE ANDRE MILLER

If they dont play the clips lose

The only viable player on the bench besides Reggie is Mo “i have the green light to shoot some of the worst jumpers possible” Willams. Dont get me wrong Mo has’nt been a slouch at all, but besides him the rest of the bench act like they are extras on the Walking dead hell i would take those zombies over Brian " cookie monster play’s better than me" Cook , and Im a great guy off the court but i suck at my Job Ryan Gomes.

What play are we talking about here?

I remember seeing Griffin land on his arm and he was down for a while, then he airballed the first FT and missed the second. Was that the play?

Hey

when Andre Miller goes for a lay up, can we do this to him?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8ZInfMWLCU&feature=related

Sorry Andre! You were scoring layups all over the place. Now that you’re vulnerable, we have to pull one from behind too. It’s a statement from Clippers Nation that defensively, this is how we’re going to play for the rest of the game too.

What should be noted is that if Brian Cook did this, Cook shouldn’t be cut this season and should have his jersey retired too. I’d pay to see Miller get nailed and see how we should play defensively.

what's the big deal?

If they foul us hard we just need to do it back. We need to stop being the nice guys and complaining when teams hack us. We probably rack up more fouls than any other team and they are always cheap little ticky tack fouls. Personally we should take miller’s advice and set a tone for our games, refs wanna cheat us with bad calls, players wanna take down blake then so be it. We should be more aggressive and not be afraid of the harringtons and millers of the world who are just unathletic mediocre players, we should make them pay and make free throws after being shaken up a bit. Blake is a strong dude, he needs to get that mean streak and put some fear into his opponents instead just taking the abuse and not dishing any out. We are gonna get donkey punched in the playoffs if we don’t fight back and start fouling teams harder and making them think twice about trying to draw contact.
