I am as critical as many on Gomes on this blog but this is rediculous. Gomes is a great guy off the court and his family should not be subjected to this. Boo him on the court if necessary but leave his personal life alone.

The situation blew up due to a couple of instigators and now Kelly Dwyer is only adding more fuel to the fire. His article is terrible, because there are a whole lot of assumptions that he is making that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I’ve seen fans get on certain players from time to time when they make a bad play and praise them when they make a good play. Usually if it is a bad comment, they don’t direct it toward the player “@playername”. This was a situation where the fan did not directly address the player nor his wife. An outsider said, “hey misses Gomes, look at what so & so said”. One of the clowns was happy that he had started something, which is stupid because it causes unnecessary drama. It gets the wife worked up, which then caused Ryan to get upset and address his “haters”. The team doesn’t really need all of that. We’re rolling.

If this isn’t motivation to try harder, I don’t know what is. The things that astound me is that he uses the word “dominate” in regards to himself. Bro, try harder or deactivate your Twitter account.

And this KidClipper person is this super annoying fan I see at games. He’s always on Ralph’s facebook page. Jesse Beer something like that.

I recognized him when he yelled constantly at Clipper Games to Fire Dunleavy. The team sucked, and that wasn’t helping.

I wish him and his family no ill will off the court.

Will be funny if the Clips add questionable character guy JR Smith who is a very talented player to replace very high character but untalented Gomes.
