new nickname for Blake......
Since many of you did not like the "Raging Bull" and I want all Cliplets in ClipsNation to like it, I will as of today refrain from the usage of that name.
I will now refer to him as "The RED BULL"!!!!!!
Pretty cool huh??
Here is a vid of Blake is some Red Bull gear

Vincente “The Godfather” Del Negro
My Cousin Vinnie

Let me know which one you like best and I will use that going forward

My Cousin Vinnie
So far that nickname is too perfect. Just like the movie, Vinnie is like some guy that was able to talk his way into the head coaching gig without any real credentials, gets humiliated for being incompetent, but if this parallel holds true, maybe he pulls off an unexpected victory to prove his worth and gets the Clippers to the promised land. . .i wonder if like the movie character Vinnie has a tough Italian wife who gives him motivation along the way. . .

Why do you believe everybody needs these outrageous nicknames?
Let’s just keep it simple. Blake hasn’t gone out of his way to make/accept one of these far out there nicknames (like Black Mamba for Kobe who accepts it). I think BG32 of something very simple should be what it is. I am trying to be respectful here, but if you continue to post nonsense fanposts, I’m going to continue to comment with my displease.
I don't see why
Everytime I see timkempton posting now, I take of it as a comical humor. LOL. We’re always so into this basketball discussion that we sometimes forget our humor :)

We are just having a good time and this is harmless fun. There are hundreds of other threads that maybe more to your liking, why don’t you just visit those and stop following me around and complaining. Many of us like talking about these things so just leave us alone

Okay, I can give you that one.
I am all for humor, but I ask one thing of you. Make sure you imply that it is humor. When you constantly post that Cook is good, Griffin is “Red Bull” or Jones is a rebounding machine, there are no implications that you are just “joking.” Especially when you post a video about Cook’s highlights, because let’s be honest, he is far from good and he isn’t going to make critical shots, no matter what situation you put him in. That brings me to another point, posts. If you notice, you make a huge amount of fanposts. I would like to kindly ask that you slow down on your posts, because look at the recent posts. A good amount are from you.
Blake "The Elevation Sensation" Griffin

WHO WANTS A FREE SHARPIE?? -- Blake Griffin

How about Blake “Red Thunder” Griffin
like Darryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins
Blake is red given his red hair
Clip Clip Hooray!
I've always been a fan of "The Beast"
How about just calling him Blake Griffin though?
Normally it's kids of about 12 who want nicknames
Do you have a printable nickname you have given to yourself Tim Kempton?
If not, I am sure we could come up with some suggestions…..
Bingo! Oh me oh my!

Hi Young Chap
This is America. The land of the free
I don’t know what it is like in the British Empire but perhaps you don’t have nicknames for soccer players or rugby, cricket, polo or when you and some hounds chase around and shoot some swallows but in our country, since our fathers or grandfathers days of watching the NBA, our players had nicknames like Wilt “the Stilt” Chamberlain, Jerry “Mr Clutch” West, Julius “Dr J” Irving to the modern era of Lebron “King” James.
So whilst you may view this as some mischievous act of commoners, we Americans sometimes just like to watch a Clipper game on TV, have a ice cold beer and have some fun chatting with fellow Clipper fans so please refrain from governing us and let us American Clipper fans continue to have our harmless fun. As I would like to remind you that most of us are from the United States of America and our forefathers fought and died for our independence from your country and you will not colonize, govern or tax any fanpost as long as my fellow Cliplets stand united.
To show that their is no disrespect intended, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!

First time in a long time I've been called Young Chap - quite nice that, thanks.
We don’t tend to have nicknames for soccer, rugby or cricket players. I’m used to nicknames from Basketball and Boxing though, two sports I follow.
However, those nicknames you are talking about were ones that everybody called those very famous players.
Raging Bull, Red Bull and the rest, are not well known nicknames, just ones you’ve made up cos you think they are cool!
Thanks for the reminder Timmy Bull, much appreciated – I will let your fanposts have their independence!!!!
Bingo! Oh me oh my!
Here's the thing, though
Nicknames catch on and spread because they are appropriate, catchy, and clever. All of yours feel forced at best, and more typically are just plain lame. You’re trying too hard, and it’s painfully obvious to all, which is why there’s so much ridicule/backlash whenever you post.
Proudly enduring the pain since the days of Bill Walton's foot.
