and draft Paul George over AFA in the 10 draft. Honestly the more I think about the more I cringe...especially with our predicament with Ryan Gomes. We would have been that much better not only because of his skill, but also because he would complement the makeup for our team. Imagine having him come in with that second unit. And you know he'd be ready to take the starting spot after Caron (No disrespect, but he is an older player).

we could have given him bledsoe

and if we had traded George, he would have been good enough for us to at least keep the pick and pick another decent small forward in this upcoming draft.

I think they still would of wanted both

Aminu had the higher potential over Bledsoe would of been the same with George. Now go back in time and never sign Ryan Gomes would of helped

it doesnt make sense for them to substitute bledsoe for aminu or george in that trade. and he was coming off of surgery.

Who really knows

for all we know VDN could’ve postponed AFA’s growth. Who’s to say O’Brien or Vogel didn’t improve him that much more.
And this comment is in no way me trying to bash VDN. I’m just saying I rather not look into the past, especially the what ifs.

Pretty sure that this was more of a what if...

could you have predicted how good Andrew Bynum would have been over Korolev?

Or if we should have drafted Stuckey over Thornton.

Or that maybe we shouldn’t have made the trade for Mo if it meant losing at a real legit chance at Kyle Irving?

The reason it sucks is because George grew up as a Clippers fan. The guy WANTED to be a Clipper.

well...wouldnt it be much worse to trade the guy?

we all griped about EJ for so long…and he’s an Indy guy

we didn’t really care for Aminu being packaged…we would care more if it was George (assuming he would be this good on the Clippers as he is in Indy)

Paul George

SoCal kid. Played high school at Pete Knight in Palmdale. From what Ive heard, real humble and very positive. I would love to get him if we had the chance. Would have loved to get him when we did have the chance.
