Yikes, didn't concentrate there at all
Sorry, theres a lot of writing mistakes in there, I apologize.
Also, all my paragraphs (is that the word for when you leave a line blank?) have vanished. I totally made a lot of paragraphs so it’s easier to read, but you don’t see them in the published version… soo… how do I make paragraphs?
???
When you hit “enter” it breaks the line into paragraphs… perhaps you have some strange Teutonic keyboard?
You got your point across regardless. No one here (except perhaps our Fearless Leader) would dare write a post in German, so good on you, germanclipper.
Strange teutonic keyboard! lol
No, we do have “Enter” Keys, so thats not the reason ;-)
I don’t know, I’ll see it next time I’m posting something.
But thank you for the reply

Hey I could be an interpreter in Poetland
I’m taking Latin right now.

Great new. I will give you a personal tour in Mid February.
Be prepared to chant a lot!

Scouts were all over him awhile back.
He has nice upside, but is going to have to put in a lot of work. Both DraftExpress and NBAdraft.net have him as a 2nd rounder in 2013.
One thing that I don’t think many of us have even taken into consideration is that we have a really good record. With that record means that our pick drops in the draft. Our 2013-16 2nd round picks (5 picks) have been traded away. These picks were top 55 protected and assumed to never be consummated. Today, there are only 5 teams with a better record than us (which would place us at 55 or 54). We get our 2012 pick regardless of the record, but our future teams will possibly have to cough up those “unlikely” 2nd rounders that we traded away.

What strange territory is this?
Clips without a first, never mind without a lottery pick… and now, you say we have no seconds?
I didn’t realize ALL the seconds were traded away, protected or not. When is the next first? Next year, yes? 2013?
We'll have a 2012 2nd and 2013 1st (if we don't trade it away).
We traded away many of our 2nd rounders in those deals where we would absorb contracts.
1/1/09: The Toronto Raptors traded Hassan Adams to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash and a 2015 2nd round draft pick.
1/5/09: The Denver Nuggets traded Cheikh Samb to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash and a 2015 2nd round draft pick.
2/16/09: The Detroit Pistons traded Alex Acker and a 2011 2nd round draft pick (Trey Thompkins) to the Los Angeles Clippers for a 2013 2nd round draft pick.
8/12/09: The New Orleans Hornets traded Rasual Butler and cash to the Los Angeles Clippers for a 2016 2nd round draft pick.
1/26/10: The New Orleans Hornets traded Bobby Brown to the Los Angeles Clippers for a 2014 2nd round draft pick.

Wow those are som bad deals in hindsight
The only one that sticks out as good is the Rasual one, because he at least brought us one decent year as a starter. None of the other guys even came back to the NBA.
The jury is still out on the Trey trade.
Some of them were to help other teams get under the luxury tax threshold.
The other team usually sent the cash to buyout the player’s contract. Adams was waived the same day. Sambe had little run with us. We gave Acker a small look. Brown was in the NBA recently, but I can’t remember where. I think he was just a training camp player.
In all honesty, a bottom 5 pick in the draft isn’t likely to make much of a difference to begin with, but it would be nice to see us stash a Euro player.

The 2nd rounders are usually bust
but if you’re lucky, you might be able to hit guys like Manu, Rashard Lewis, Michael Redd, etc.

Obviously
but seems to that DJ is only in there because he’s so athletic, tall, and long. Regardless, DJ was a projected first round pick anyway. It wasn’t like he wasn’t expected to contribute. He went from lottery pick, to a mid pick, to a 2nd round pick. Guy’s like Manu or Redd never was seen as players to contribute.
