Didn't the FO tell EJ they weren't gonna trade him?
But they traded him regardless? Hope they aren’t pulling the same stunt with Mo.

They thought they weren't going to trade him
by all indications NO thought the CP3 deal was dead, so he wasn’t lying at the time when he told EJ he wouldn’t be traded. But of course circumstances changed and in the end it is better to have a disappointed EJ then no CP3.

Sounds Like Some Players Are Not Dealing Too Well With The Compressed Schedule
What is starting to turn out to be amazing is the Clippers are on track to have one of their least injury filled seasons in a long time. – No jinx intended. LOL
Clips have had a pretty spread out schedule so far
I don’t think Billups, Butler, Martin and Evans will respond that well so VDN has to limit their minutes whenever possible.

The early schedule has benefitted the Clips
in part by giving them more time to practice and gel when they most needed it.

Regarding Mo..
I really don’t see why the Clips would be actively shopping him. The team needs him desperately, and I just can’t see a deal that will benefit the Clips.
If a good offer comes along, I feel that it’s only fair that Olshey discusses the deal with Mo. He’s only been here a short time, but he’s embraced the Clippers fully and is a big reason why we have turned things around. We owe it to him to be up front and honest regarding possible trades.
On a sidenote, I wasn’t too happy on how the situation with Gordon was handled. Not sure what was said, but it seemed like Olshey wasn’t completely honest with EJ.
I still haven’t had the heart to watch the video of EJ on the bus when he finds out he’s been traded in between charity events.
damn you
I had forgotten about that video, temptation to watch it had gone. I don’t think i will ever be strong enough.
i agree - why are we shopping our best bench player?
Mo came in this season in top shape and ready to play. He has been solid off the bench. It will be tough to replace his production via any reasonable trade.
Also, I don’t buy the whole “Mo is unhappy” thing. He is playing on a winning team and has a chance to start next year since Chauncey is getting older and we don’t know if Clippers will bring him back.
No, it's the Clip Show!
LOL
Yah, Neil telling Mo that he won’t trade him without consulting him first must really inspire a lot of confidence in him haha. You’re not going to be traded until you are, ask Kaman and EJ.
See that's the thing
If the Clippers are serious about changing the culture, management needs to also be honest and be held accountable. They can’t be saying “we’ll consult with you” and then trade that individual without giving them a heads up. Little things like that spread, and will sour other players from signing with the Clips.

in the end…its a business. and entertainment business. things got to stay fresh and interesting
plus…as long as Blake and CP3 are around…that is enough to keep players wanting to play for the Clippers
Ralph, "Last year so often with Blake Griffin you would see these things coming, with Paul, he's so crafty, all of a sudden boom there it is."
if i recall correctly,
Olshey never told EJ and/or Kaman that they would not be traded.
reports always said something like, “people in managment have told Ej that he will be a Clipper.”
i haven’t read the linked article, but it looks like the no-trade-mo is coming directly from Olshey.
now, none of this is to justify the way that EJ’s and Kaman’s situations were handled, but if Olshey is the source this time, than i thinks it apples and oranges.

Just tell Mo to stay clear of riding a bus.

demand to go to the same one was Blake and DJ
