"With my knowledge of the game, I know I can help Blake," Martin said. "I've been where Blake is — a whole lot of athleticism and not really knowing how to play. He's getting it, but I think me being here, being around and talking to him and DeAndre, I think it's going to help a lot."

Appreciate the sentiment, but come on Kenyon.
“I’ve been where Blake is — a whole lot of athleticism and not really knowing how to play.”
’Scuse me, Blake knows how to play.

To be fair, Blake doesn't really know how to play
he is plays almost exclusively with his unparallelled athleticism which allows him to be mega star, but if he wants to be able to play well into his 30’s he is going to need to learn how to play smarter. That means learning how and when to be aggressive in the post, and when to step out for jumpers. Kenyon was actually pretty athletic in his prime and he too had to learn to play with more skill in order to prolong his career.

Good points
I seem to recall he had a significant knee injury at some point

Good guy to teach him, I think

3 months from now Blake will have tattoos all over his body.

Ralph, "Last year so often with Blake Griffin you would see these things coming, with Paul, he's so crafty, all of a sudden boom there it is."
It would be great if he put notches on his arm for each time he gets the top SportsCenter spot for posterizing someone.
So cold-blooded, everyone would hate him.

if he does that he'd have more tats than Birdman by the end of the season

The inverse should be a rule:
If you were Blake Griffin’d, you should have to get a tattoo of Blake’s name and the date it happened on one of your arms.
It would serve both as an honor of having been Griffinized, as well as a mark of shame for not getting out of the way.
he's going to tattoo bruise on his face and arms
so after every play he will show the ref and say “look at how hard he fouled me! that should been an and-1”

Let's get Karl Malone in here to teach Blake some things.
The Jazz wouldn’t even give him tickets to a game..so he says. In Blake’s year and a quarter he’s surpasses Martin.
Let's get Shawn Kemp to teach him...
Probably the closest to an athletic big man that may have some pointers for Blake’s footwork.
and have 14 kids by different baby mammas all over the country.

Anybody else you want to suggest?

Do you guys seriously think K-Mart has nothing to impart on Blake?
Have we seen Blake play defense half as good as Kenyon?
which do you guys think will be better in 2 on 2?
