Breaking: Chauncey out for season with Achilles Tear

The worst scenario has been realized as the injury is in fact a tear, while the severity is not given Billups is most definitely done for the season. This injury is a big blow to the clippers but I think they can move past it as we have depth at the two with: Mo, Foye, and hopefully a returning Bledsoe. It would be nice to add a fourth player to that list though.

Sucks but it is part of the Game and hopefully the Team comes together and get’s motivated to make Chauncey Proud. He is a Good guy to have in the coaching staffs ear.

When I heard we got Billups off waivers, I was surprised and wary. How would he react to being a Clipper? My fears were washed away when he showed he still had clutch, and above all, showed he had heart. Get well soon, be active on the bench (as a coach), and thanks for the push you gave us at the start!

I will miss Chauncey. He is a true professional.
Going the other way, Clips could take a flyer on Gil. He supposedly had Kobe German knee procedure and is working out in L.A. this week.

we need to get Luke Walton

he’s a SF so we just move Caron to the SG, he can pass, very unself, doesn’t take away a lot of shots, he’s got good character, his dad is former Clipper Bill Walton, he is good friends with Richard Jefferson that the Clippers thought about getting before Spurs didn’t amnesty him….and Lakers fans would trade him for Dwight Howard.
