Same
pretty insightful if this is how Mo feels. Of course unless you have Simers full notes on the interview he can be just framing it to make Mo look bad. But some of the questions seem pretty straight forward. They might have to consider trading him at the deadline if they think he will opt out this summer and have no plans of giving him an extension.

Maybe we can
snag that wing defender that we so desperately lack to spell Caron Butler…
Package Bledsoe and Gomes/Foye for some scoring punch off the bench or sign JR

I take Simers with a grain of salt
He has a tendency to place his subject’s responses in a sequence that proves his point rather than accurately portraying the course of the conversation. He makes quotes appear as non-sequitors to discredit the interviewee. It’s more drama than reporting.
I don't like his style of writing. His opinion is often biased even before the interview.
Don’t understand how this guy writes for a living.
No, it's the Clip Show!
Talk about putting words in someone's mouth
“‘I want to play,’ he says in explaining his attitude, but what he really means to say is, he wants to start.” Unless what he means is I want to play.
Let’s not get too worked up about something Simers is writing. Mo’s been fine. Had a bad game tonight. It happens.

If I could talk to Simers, I'd say..
“I help him out again. ‘You are not in the same class as Blake Griffin,’ and he seems surprised.”
Yeah, douche, maybe he was surprised because you said something totally off-the-wall inappropriate that really added nothing to your interview, and it implied that you thought he was expecting a max contract. That’s why he immediately said, “I’m not looking for anything.” God, Simers, you’re doing everything you can to paint Mo in a negative light.
“’It’s a reality, man. It’s reality,’ he says, and I have no idea what he’s talking about.”
He’s talking, this entire interview, about being traded. He’s not talking about starting. Not once. You just imply it the entire time in your commentary (but not your quoted questions, you coward). He’s talking about his role on the team as being important and key to victory, not about being the star of the team. You’re making it seem like he’s worried about not being the main man, trying to start trouble by comparing him to Blake Griffin when Mo never even went there. Stop being obnoxious.

It is things like this that remind me why I hate Simers
every so often he writes decent articles, but the most part it is hearsay like this where he puts words into an someones mouth in order to fit his purpose.
"It's better to be an optimist who is sometimes wrong than a pessimist who is always right"unknown
I really hope so. But you have to say every on the team knows their role and is okay with it. I have felt, mo always thought he was slighted when clips brought in cp and cb. But to be on mo’s point of view, besides cp, you can say it’s up in the air who if better cb or him.

For a minute I actually liked Simers based on his Chauncey article
and then he writes this crap.
He sounded like he was in Mo’s jock like Boobie Gibson tonight. No wonder Mo came off disgruntled.
Remembers when you could buy a nosebleed ticket at the Sports Arena and end up courtside.
what the fuck was that?
seems to me that simers was constantly trying to lead mo say something depracating about the team, and when he couldn`t he tried to put words in his mouth. i seriously think he went into this interview with the mindset to make mo the villain no matter what mo would`ve said. i feel like his trying to put ideas in mo`s mind, like he doesnt fit with the clippers because of paul, billups and now foye. this douchebag wants to sabotage the clippers from the inside.
mo has been very professional. if h was really unhappy, he wouldve already asked for a trade like lamar kardasian.
When you hear the Clippers, it’s not going to be a joke anymore. I can guarantee you that -BG32
appologies mind the lowercases
takes to much work for proper punctuation using a kindle.

Don't think Mo will be giving Simers any more interviews anytime soon.
Mo has no problem speaking his mind at times when maybe he doesn’t need to say anything. This gave Simers just want he needed to write the article he was looking to write.
While I don’t think Mo is being selfish like Simers claims, it’s obvious the idea of being traded bothers him. The so-called assurance he received from the Clippers doesn’t seem to have made him any less concerned. Seems reasonable to me to believe that Mo’s concern may contribute to his play on the court. And i’m not sure what the Clippers can do to alleviate it. They’re not going to give him an extension and they’re not going to publicly proclaim he won’t be traded. I guess they could ask him to opt into his deal for next year but that doesn’t assure that they won’t trade him. Let’s just hope Mo keeps it together and continues to play well.
Oh, and he stays away from Simers too.
After I read this, i said to myself that we had just read our last Simers interview of Mo.

First of all, I’m a hornets fan so screw you all for taking the only player that we had. Anyways…
I dont know if anyone else notices this, but Mo has horrible shot selections at times. I literally scratch my head because I’m so confused why he would force such shots when the defender is all up in his face or pull up for a contested 3 when there’s still plenty of time left on the shot clock
Screw you too!
You took our best player AFA and our two best looking players Kaman and EJ.

Hmmm, if we did have to trade Mo...can anyone top this (while still being somewhat realistic)?

Read this on Hoopsworld Chat with Steve Kyler FWIW
“Do we finally see the Clippers shop Mo Williams who isn’t happy being a 6th man? Any chance we could see a Mo for Wesley Matthews trade? Clips get the size in the back court they lack and the Blazers upgrade their PG spot.”
“Steve Kyler
No… not with the loss of Chauncey Billups… Mo is a friend of mine and he told me on Monday that he was thrilled with his situation and that he loved whats happening with the Clippers. Every player wants to play, so don’t read much into Mo wanting out of LA."

I'd bet money
that Mo is not a friend of Simer’s.

That would be a pretty interesting trade though
He’s younger, has a better contract and is a better fit as a natural 2 than Mo.

Matthews for Mo?
Ya, i think we have to do that

Another roll in the trash with Simers...
I thought he turned a corner, then this. Guy needs to shut up.
