"Heard today that Vinny Del Negro is on super-thin, could-go-any-day ice. A blowout loss in OKC tonight won't exactly help." Then he qualifies it with this: "2 things going in VDN's favor: 1) Sterling is too cheap to pay for 2 coaches, and 2) can't hire an interim coach for a playoff contender." I hope this is true and would gladly trade a blowout loss for VDN being gone. I hope Sterling will open up his wallet. Not really sure what Simmons' second point means though.
