GM Neal Olshey has spent this entire season upgrading the player-roster. He needs to complete the job by making a coaching upgrade. IMO, Nate McMillan is that best coach [available].
--His W/L is 500 or better in 5 of the last 6 regular seasons (6 of 6 if he'd stayed in Portland).
-- His last team (Portland), was in the playoff in 3 of the last 4 years.
--He's a seasoned coach, and he gets the most out of his players.
--Put him on the right team and he'll find his way quickly to that top-tier of active NBA coaches, like that guy in Chicago.
--Put him on the Clips and you get the West Coast version of that guy in Boston.
Clearly, the circumstances are perfect. So, if the opportunity is available, then the time to act is now!
