A trade that could work for both teams and both players

Hello Citizens!

I read that some of you badly want to get rid of Ryan Gomes, rightfully so. I actually like him since his Boston days, but it's a fact that he's not getting it done in a Clippers uniform. The problem is that his salary is not expiring, making it less possible to trade him this year, while waving him doesn't make much sense. Even after his struggles in Staples, I still think he can be a productive player, he just needs a change of scenery. Trading Gomes for another underachieving, overpaid player is probably the only trade that could be reasonable for a second party. There's another player in this league, who seemed lost in his current team ever since he stepped on the court: Josh Childress. (Why did the Suns even sign him in the first place?) Okay you're right, his contract is even worse, but if it doesn't turn out well we could still wave him at the end of the year (could we?). He still can't shoot the corner three (actually regressed in Phoenix from behind the arc), but he could provide much needed length and athleticism at the 2-3 spot. Gomes lost his spot in the rotation and he's currently rotten on the bench. He could regain his confidence in a new team, and could be a valuable rotation player for the Suns at both forward spots. he is clearly not this bad, he just can't find his place in this team (he's not a shooter, and that's basically what he has to do here). IMO both players would be better fits on the other team. We could add Cookie or Leslie to make it work. ( I would love to see Gomes getting back on track, but I'm afraid it's not going to happen with the Clippers. Come on Ryan show us something we can cheer for! We're still with you.)
