Vinny I think hasn't put Bledsoe and Chris Paul together enough.Are main weakness is guarding the perimeter.Yes Blake and Deandre don't switch well on pick n rolls(how many times do u see them switch on pick n rolls on D for no reason or give the shooter way to much space).It's also understandable that they are so indesisive considering its only their second year playing lots of minutes and there coached by Vinny Del Negro who's still trying to figure out how he wants this team to play("were a long ways in my mind towards being complete",<a recent quote from Vinny with 6 games left in the season :Scary)) But the main problem especially earier in the season was the inability of the perimiter defenders to deny penetration into the lane(primarly Mo Williams .and Caron<until he somehow got his legs back).

Since Bledsoe started getting healthy his minutes have gone up of course it helped that Mo Williams and Billups of course were injured and Vinny pritty much had to play him(Oshey might have been in his ear about that as well)but his on the ball defence has in my mind coincided in our defense getting better and better.

For One: his energy frustrates opponents who then can't get in rhythm or run their offense properly

Two:His positioning on Defense is impeccable. He stays low to the ground but with a hand constantly in their shooters face

Three:He can guard both positions in the backcourt because of his great athleticism(he's also built like a truck so opposing players have a hard time posting him up)

Four and the main reason is that when Bledsoe and Chris Paul(leading the league in steals at 2.47spg)are in there together they get there hands all over the passing lanes and create turnovers which in turn gets them out running and on a team with the 2 most athletic big men in the game it should be a priority to get out and run.Offensively the Clippers can score with anyone(even crazier considering how predictable our offense has been)So this should be Vinny's #1 priority finding solutions on D.

*I'll be happy the rest of the season if at least Vinny doesn't try to play Mo Williams 30min guarding the 2 spot again
