I have not been on this forum in quite some time, but I had to log on and post a few thoughts.
Game 1 was an embarrassment from Tip to the start of the 4th quarter. The team played horrible defense, Caron got injured, none of their shots went in. VDN tried mixing and matching a lot of throughout the game, but THE BENCH won this game. I agree CP3 is clutch in these scenarios but Evans stepped up, K-Mart's defense stepped up big time, Nick Young hit back to back to back 3's, Bledsoe's energy fueled the team along with CP3's leadership.
This is exactly why someone trades for a CP3 player, in these moments, situations. The X's and O's and the shots and everything did not fall for almost 40 minutes of basketball.
Seeing the fans in Memphis and hearing not ONE pindrop led me to one conclusion that one must live by: NEVER, EVER GIVE UP. They now have one of the best comebacks in postseason HISTORY. If they win Wed, this series is a sweep IMO. Our home crowd will go BALLISTIC on Sat and Mon.
It is also worth noting that now we are relevant, and now everyone wants to jump this bandwagon. I asked someone last night, "if your a true Clippers fan, were you there for the years of devastation and angst that we went through, or BETTER yet, DO YOU KNOW WHAT CLIPS NATION IS"....silenced like the crowd in Memphis.
CLIPPER NATION--RISE UP, this is our time, this is the GAME CHANGING GAME.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this post.
