Clipper "fans"

It frustrates me so much, watching the games on TV, and the crowd is dead silent 90% of the game. When the Clippers used to be the "Clippers", Staples Center was filled with spectators and not fans, and that still seems to be true. Does it have something to do with LA in general? Because Lakers games are somewhat similar. I'm from Buffalo, NY, so I'm used to going to BIlls games where some of the craziest fans exist. Maybe my expectations are too high.

I went to one Clipper game this year, the 2nd against the Grizz, and I've never heard an arena that large be so silent. Anyone could have yelled and the entire stadium would have heard them. It makes it so much more enjoyable when the home crowd is extremely loud and energized(like OKC or POR games), even when you're watching it on TV.

I'm also worried that the crappy Clipper home crowd might make it less temping to for CP3 to remain a Clipper?

Maybe Clips Nation needs to set up a fan section at Clipper games similar to that of squad 6 at Bucks games. Bring that European Futbol feel to Staples Center. Clipper Darell can only do so much by himself, right?
