First Quarter Notes.

Clippers lead 32-26 after one. After falling behind 10-2 and then 12-4, the Clippers outscored them 28-14 the rest of the way.

Looked like two bad calls that saddled Blake Griffin with two fouls. That could be a problem if he picks up more. It's tough to get cheap/undeserved fouls in a physical game where you need to use some of your fouls. The second call, the charge, was demonstrably wrong. Gasol was in the restricted area AND he was moving. Other than that, great job ref.

Unbelievably entertaining quarter in general. Three times the Clippers answered Memphis threes with threes of their own. Amazing.

The Grizzlies opened the game with Tony Allen defending Chris Paul, something they have never done against the Clippers. It did not succeed.

I sense desperation from Lionel Hollins.
