I know this has a terrible chance of happening (and all because of DTS, so sad). But has anyone considered Mitch Kupchak to replace Neil? He's being treated like crap as Jim Buss does everything he can to neutralize him and wipe away the Triangle Years.

POR and ORL have gone hard after him. Think about it. He wouldn't even have to move. Hiring Mitch gives us instant credibility (I know we hate the Lakers, and this is the one time I will say this, but "you can't argue with banners").

It's also not out of the question that Kupchak lures Phil Jackson to coach next year.
