I'm seeing a pattern here. Neil Olshey has a pattern of giving his word then breaking it. And in saying this, I am not implying that he is a terrible person. Simply that he is someone who cannot be trusted. And I say that with no malice because it appears that he is a well meaning person. Just not a very effective one. Neil needs to learn to better consider if there would be any possibility of changing his mind. If the answer is "yes" then he should not give his word. By the way, someone who routinely breaks their word is otherwise known as a liar.

Ask Kaman and EJ what they think of Neil. When the potential trade for CP3 was dying, Neil gave his word to them that they should not be traded. And he ended up lying to them. I'm glad the CP3 trade happened, but the reality is that Neil never should have given his word to them until the deadline passed.

And now on Friday, Neil obviously gave his word to someone in the Clipper organization that he would accept their offer. Either Neil thought about it over the weekend and changed his mind, or the offer improved. My point is that Neil takes his word very lightly. He is not hesitant to break his word ( aka Lie ) if it suits his purposes.

If this pattern continues in his career, then his career will be vastly diminished. Neil has been breaking relationships as he goes through his career. There will come a time in his career that he needs to demonstrate his INTEGRITY and will realize that there is simply not that much of it to show.
