The Lakers are attempting to secure a meeting with Dwight Howard and also with the Magic on Tuesday, according to sources.

Los Angeles is seeking an extension commitment before moving forward with a trade for Howard.

The Rockets have not setup a meeting with Howard to discuss similar circumstances.
