Sam Amick of SI.com confirmed an earlier story that has the LA Clippers in a sign-and-trade deal for power forward/center Reggie Evans. Terms of the deal have Evans at 1.6M a year for three years. Clips to receive a "heavily protected" 2nd round pick sometime in the future. Perhaps before the next millennium.
I will be sad to see Reggie go. We will miss his great energy and drive. We won't miss his bricks from the free-throw line or his complete inability to score the basketball. But nice to see he got a long term deal and wish him well.
