In an unexpected move, the Houston Rockets decided Tuesday evening to withdraw their Qualifying Offer to free agent -shooting guard Courtney Lee, making him an unrestricted free agent. The 6'5" 26-year-old offers a defensive presence on the wing to potential suitors, as well as a deadly jumpshot. After starting for the Orlando Magic in the NBA finals during his rookie season, Lee was traded to the Nets, and then the Rockets before becoming a free agent.

The Western Kentucky product has shot higher than 40% from three-point range in three of his four seasons, and has averaged 10 PPG and 2.7 RPG on 43.0% field goal shooting and 38.6% three point shooting during his four season career.

Lee is a potential target and excellent fit for the Los Angeles Clippers.
