NBA Stars Nick and JaVale’s Hit Web Series Is Back,

Bigger, Better The Second Time Around

Los Angeles, CA, July, 2012--After garnering nearly half a million views on YouTube, The Nick and JaVale Show, starring NBA players Nick Young and JaVale McGee, begins production on season two in July.

Season two will offer more laughs, more exclusive access and a more personal perspective as Young and McGee give viewers a humorous, candid glimpse into the lives of professional athletes.

The best friends say their show is different from other programming like Basketball Wives on VH1 because they are more interested in pulling pranks and giving back than fighting and throwing drinks.

The series follows the players as they balance family, service, and friendship with the challenges of business, success and fame. Season One, filmed during the NBA lockout, featured slam dunk competitions, a surprise visit to an elementary school and a freestyle rap battle over a teppanyaki table at a Japanese restaurant.

The Nick and JaVale Show garnered attention from major news outlets including The Washington Post, ABC's Good Morning America, ESPN, and ESPN2 last year for a hilarious episode where the players took the infamous cinnamon challenge.

Nick Young, 27, a native of Los Angeles, California, is a shooting guard/ small forward who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers.

JaVale McGee, 24, a native of Flint, Michigan, is a Center/Power Forward who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets.

Aloni Ford, CEO of Ford Production Films, is the creator and producer behind The Nick and JaVale Show.
