As part of a series of posts throughout the SBNation NBA sites, I'll be writing about a player who became a cult favorite among Clipper fans. Someone who wasn't a star, but was always a favorite of the fans, for whatever reason.
I've been thinking of candidates and have come up with a few but I'm curious what the citizenry thinks about this as well. Vote for your favorite Cult Classic Clipper in the poll below, or if you don't see your candidate, leave me suggestions in the comments. Note that John Williams may be a little too good to qualify for purely cult status, but his girth alone makes him worthy of this list in my opinion. If Steve Novak is Brad from Rocky Horror Picture Show on this midnight movie list, then Williams is Divine in Pink Flamingos.
