Maybe its just me, but I've been noticing more frequent use of the traveling call lately by the refs. And I am not just talking about the Clippers; I mean all NBA games I've seen lately. The interesting part is that I don't think they are necessarily bad calls. I feel like I'm having déjà vu (The Olympics anyone?). It seems like the league is trying to crack down on the first couple steps a lot of players take before dribbling the ball. It is the correct call, its just that it has always been (very) loosely enforced.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a good thing?
