So, we are 0 and 3 in February and all indication is that we are about to loss 4 more perhaps more without CP3 and Blake. Problem is with the team losing badly, CP3 might force himself to play even if he is not ready and healthy. This could be more problematic because CP3 could easily be hurt again should he play prematurely. With 4 teams behind us all of which are playing steadily well and with our continued lackluster plays and losses , it is quite possible that we could drop to the 6th or even 7th seed in the west at the end of February.
We cannot risk CP3 being injured again and if would cost us more games to loss in February, so be it. March's schedule is more friendly and should we drop in our seeding, climbing back to where we are right now could be achieved in March and April where it counts more. By that time we have a healthy CP3, Chauncey and Blake. It is also good to test our resiliency and hopefully Bledsoe (if he is not traded) could learn more and mature by March.
Another way of approaching this dilemma is to be able to trade Bledsoe, perhaps together with Caron and or DJ for KG, Lee and or Bradley by the end of the trading deadline. There is no need to fear that chemistry will be disrupted because it is already disrupted now as the Clips are become sheep without a shepherd. This trade could very well stop some of the losses while the team is waiting for CP3, Billups and Blake to be whole.
Trade and win now. With KG etal, our chances are better, even more than with Bledsoe and DJ on the team.
