Kobe Bryant suffered probable torn Achilles tendon

Jeff Gross

Near the end of their win over the Warriors, Kobe suffered what is most likely a torn Achilles tendon. If so, it would be the most serious injury of his 17 year NBA career.

ESPN is reporting that Kobe Bryant suffered a probable torn Achilles tendon.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant suffered what the team called a probable torn Achilles tendon during Friday night's 118-116 win over the Golden State Warriors.

He will undergo an MRI on Saturday morning to confirm the injury, according to the Lakers.

Say what you will but one must appreciate and respect Kobe's game and his determination.
